: A brief retrospective of Helen Robinson's family upbringing which is strongly rooted in Pan Africanism and the Markus Garvey movement. We will discuss how Helen struggled with asthma and chronic eczema at a very young age. How she learned how to heal herself by using natural remedies she learned in the community. Helen Robinson surmounted the 80’s crack era, experienced some domestic adversities in her relationships. Single motherhood would lead her into an entrepreneurial mindset birthing herself into Queen Afua, Spiritual Guide, Nutritionist, and Host of Sister Circles. This experience would set the foundation of how she would later have the ability to relate to women all over the world.
